Frederik Heyman

Conceptual artist / fashion photographer Frederik Heyman creates his own imaginary realm in a very distinctive way. Every picture is a visual surprise and an intriguing play with all components: set, lighting, models, objects, actions and make-up. His images often turn surrealistic, as Heyman loves to give an unexpected twist to ordinary things.

On top of photography, Heyman also studied illustration and graphic design – and it shows in his all-encompassing art. Heyman restlessly reinvents himself, always exploring new techniques and work processes. He incorporates spectacular 3D design in his work, as part of an ever expanding visual language. Invention and originality are his trademarks.

Heyman has become a sought after photographer / director for commissioned work, due to his catchy, innovative flair. He has worked for Lady Gaga, Kenzo, Mercedes Benz, Vogue Japan, Henrik Vibskov, Bruno Pieters and Mugler amongst many others.
