Titus Simoens

Ghent-based photographer / director Titus Simoens is a rising star, both in Belgium and across the borders. He already won several Awards and his personal work was present at numerous (solo) exhibitions.

Thanks to his roots in documentary photography, Simoens certainly has an eye for authenticity and naturel. He catches the exact expression that defines a person. Meanwhile, he places his subjects in carefully chosen, characteristic surroundings. Simoens contemplates his subjects deeply before shooting, in order to define a visual approach that fully fits its essence. In contrast with many others, Simoens hardly uses any retouching at all. His commercial work stands out as truthful.
